3 tips for getting your photography portfolio noticed

I wanted to talk a little bit of about a different types of visibility for your own personal photography portfolio… the kind that gives you a greater number of people seeing your work. Ways to get their photos seen and many think that simply posting snapshots to a website is all they have to do.

However, it’s becoming extremely hard to keep your photography stand out as photography has turned out to be a great deal more accessible to the majority.

Therefore you should do things that is going to make your photos stand out from the group (or even break into the group to begin with).

1. Write a great title and caption. Photographers love hearing the story behind the shot—whether it’s what inspired you or how you captured the photo.

2. Include relevant keywords. Tagging your photo with accurate keywords makes it easier for others to find you.

3. Post regularly and try something new. Challenge yourself to capture something different than what you’ve photographed before. The newest photos are always featured on our Fresh page.
